Feelgood Fitness Response to COVID-19

This is produced following government and industry guidelines, as well as communication and policies from The Park Centre.

In response to the current pandemic and the reopening of gyms, the following procedures will be in place from 3rd August 2020 and will be reviewed in September 2020 or when appropriate.

  • Wash (minimum of 20 seconds)/sanitise hands before and after entering the studio.
  • Use of own equipment where possible – I may be able to loan some out or purchase some for you.
  • Cleaning of ALL equipment after each use- I will do most of this.
  • Windows and doors to remain open – unless during massage.
  • A minimum of 15-20 minute gap between classes – you will NOT be able to wait in the corridor before classes until 5 minutes before your class.
  • A minimum of 5 minutes between each private client – this ensures time to clean all equipment used.
  • Temperature checks before entering the studio are not deemed necessary.
  • Zoom to remain an offering.
  • A maximum of 4 people in the studio at any one time with social distancing. Studio places will be prioritised to those that need them most and who want them more. If there are more than 4, we will operate a rota system. Places will need to booked via the website as usual.
  • Massage appointments will be reduced to 30 or 45 minute sessions.
  • I will be producing a ‘bubble’ system whereby you will only be allowed into class with your usual participants. If you need to swap to another day you will have to attend via Zoom.
  • For massage I will be wearing a face shield but no other PPE is required.
  • Personal belongings are to be kept to a minimum and should be kept in a plastic container, which I will provide, during the session.
  • You are encouraged to arrive in your kit ready and not to change on site.
  • There is a one-way system in operation throughout The Park Centre, please follow these guidelines.
  • You are encouraged to walk or cycle to the studio where possible.
  • There will be no use of shared objects such as balls, weights, bands,  trampoline, mats etc unless they can be cleaned or sanitised between users.
  • The water tap in the kitchen can be used, but only to refill personal bottles or containers. You will not be able to use the cups in the studio.
  • Records and details (name, home phone number, mobile number, date and times of entry and exit) of clients attending the studio will be kept for 21 days in line with the NHS Test and Trace System.
  • Where possible please attend the studio on your own. This includes not bringing young children and vulnerable people into the studio. This is purely to allow adequate social distancing, and cleanliness of the facilities.
  • Classes and appointment times will be strictly kept to and so will not be able to overrun if there is another appointment scheduled after. Please ensure you arrive in time and leave promptly.
